BUY AMERICA AUDITS

 

TRC performs both Pre-Award and Post-Delivery Audits for our clients.  The FTA requires that recipients of federal funds for new bus purchases must conduct Pre-Award Buy America Audits and Post-Delivery Buy America Audits in accordance with 49 CFR Part 663.  Clients should be aware that the timing of Buy-America audits is important in relation to FTA contract milestones.

STRUCTURAL FAILURE ANALYSIS

TRC conducts evaluations of structural failures in buses. Our evaluations look for the primary and secondary causes of structural failures, investigate the extent of damage incurred, and design remedial repairs including modifications of structures to prevent future damage.

BUS DESIGN REVIEWS

TRC assists clients who wish to introduce new bus products into the North American market, either a complete bus, or bus components. We provide advice on meeting FMVSS requirements, understanding the American market, conducting test trials, meeting Buy America requirements and ADA compliance.
